Commitment against the Sexual Exploitation of Children and Adolescents in Travel and Tourism

Our Commitment

At Choquequirao Tickets (CORPORACION PERU RESERVATIONS S.A.C.), we are strictly committed to the prevention and eradication of the Sexual Exploitation of Children and Adolescents (ESNNA) in the context of travel and tourism.

In accordance with Peruvian legislation (Law No. 29408, General Tourism Law, and Law No. 30802), we have adopted a zero-tolerance policy towards any form of exploitation, abuse, or violence against minors. We actively subscribe to the National Code of Conduct for the protection of children and adolescents from sexual exploitation in travel and tourism.

Our Actions

  • ✓ Strict Training: All our administrative staff, guides, cooks, and muleteers receive constant training on how to identify, prevent, and report any signs of ESNNA during our expeditions and operations.
  • ✓ Rigorous Protocols: We require appropriate identification for all minors traveling on our tours, ensuring they are accompanied by their parents or legal guardians with proper authorization.
  • ✓ Immediate Reporting: We maintain a direct line of communication with local authorities (National Police of Peru, Ministry of Tourism) to immediately report any suspicious activities related to the exploitation of minors.
  • ✓ Community Awareness: We promote awareness among our clients, suppliers, and the communities along the Choquequirao route about the importance of protecting the most vulnerable.

Report Suspicions

If you observe any suspicious situation during your trip involving the possible exploitation of a minor, please report it immediately to our team or contact the Peruvian National Police directly at Line 1818 or 105.
